Another must-see Hot Fuzz filming location is St Cuthbert’s Church, which was used for the scene where Angel and Danny Butterman (Nick Frost) investigate a mysterious death. The church is a beautiful example of Norman architecture, and it’s well worth a visit even if you’re not a fan of the film.

If you’re looking for a bite to eat, then head to the Crown Inn, which was used for the scene where Angel and Butterman have lunch with the local police officers. The Crown Inn is a traditional English pub, and it serves a great selection of food and drink.

As a huge fan of Hot Fuzz, I was thrilled to visit Wells and see the filming locations for myself. I started my day in the town square, where I immediately recognized the Town Hall and the Market House from the film. I couldn’t resist taking a few photos, and I even pretended to be Nicolas Angel arriving in Wells for the first time.
